A FLINT high school reunion has been a big success, according to the event organiser.
Flint High School’s Class of 1975 came together to share memories of their school days and catch up with friends about their lives now.
Linda Saunders, who organised the event, said: “I was delighted with the response and felt that the afternoon was a great success and everyone who attended absolutely loved it! I am already looking into a venue for our next reunion in Chester next July.”
Linda also told the Leader that she was met with an enthusiastic response from the school for her request to hold the celebration there.
Mr Craig Steadman, the school business manager, played a vital part in ensuring that all the ex-students were made to feel very welcome and allowed a tour of the school to take place which brought back many memories.
Linda also said that she knew of some former pupils that came from as far away as the Isle of Man to celebrate at the school.
As well as past pupils, memories were brought back by Tony Knight - a teacher who worked at the school during 1975.
