AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a retired midwife.
Patricia Miller died at her home on Chester Road, Wrexham, on June 9. She was 64.
Opening an inquest into her death, John Gittins, coroner for North East Wales (and Central) said Mrs Miller had been found at the bottom of the stairs that morning by her husband.
Mr Gittins added: "A Home Office post-mortem was undertaken on the same day at the Royal Liverpool Hospital and the cause of death was given as a head injury.
"There was no evidence of criminality."
Mr Gittins adjourned the brief hearing in Ruthin for a full inquest to take place in November of this year.
