BUILDING skills courses are available for those working in construction.

If you are a contractor looking to improve the skills of your workforce when it comes to dealing with traditional (pre-1919) buildings or a sole trader looking to widen your skillset, and train further in some unique skills which can help you take on a wider range of construction projects, there are free courses available through Wrexham Council's Traditional Building Skills programme.

The courses take place throughout the summer with each one held at at Coleg Cambria’s Bersham Road campus.

They take place on the following dates:

- Traditional Sash Windows: Care, Repair and Upgrading. Wednesday, June 26.

- Level 3 Award – Repair and Maintenance of (Pre 1919) Buildings. Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28:

- Heritage Impact Assessments (HIA) and their Understanding. Tuesday, July 9 or Wednesday, August 14.
