POLICE attempting to sort out parking problems outside a Wrexham school have been facing abuse from angry parents.
According to one councillor, the situation outside Wats Dyke Primary School in Garden Village has become “chaotic”.
“I believe it would take one ticket to be issued and the message would soon get around that the parking problem was being dealt with,” County Cllr Andy Williams, chairman of Rhosddu Community Council, told colleagues.
He added police should certainly not be abused at all by parents parking at the school.
PCSO Mike Bell, who was at the meeting, said the problem of parking at schools was the same all over Wrexham but he agreed to the request to see if the police traffic department should pay a visit to Wats Dyke School and then perhaps the message would finally get home
Cllr Madge Lynch said the problem was the same at Rhosddu School in her area.
