A COMMUNITY leader wants Wrexham Council to re-introduce a special Order to help deal with anti-social behaviour in part of the town centre.
County Cllr Marc Jones told Rhosddu Community Council, which covers part of the town centre, that Wrexham Council had issued a Public Space Protection Order several years ago but the Order had expired
He felt it should be re-introduced as a means of dealing with some of the problems now being faced.
Community council colleagues agreed that Wrexham Council should be asked for the Order to be issued.
After the meeting Cllr Jones explained that the Order could help to deal with rough sleepers, general anti-social behaviour including bad language and sex offences etc.
However, in order for the Order to be effective, it had to be enforced, he said.
