TWO men have been detained after an off-road bike collided with a Police officer in Wrexham.
The incident happened at around 10.30am on Tuesday morning in the Prince Charles Road area of Caia Park and resulted in a police pursuit including the support of a helicopter after the the driver fled the scene.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "The incident happened at around 10.38am this morning.
"After the driver of the off road bike had fled the scene, a pursuit took place by Police officers on foot and we also had support from the air via a Police helicopter.
"Two men were detained and the Police officer was sent to hospital for a check up."
