A WREXHAM man has been jailed for two months after changing his plea at the last minute to guilty of an assault charge.
Simon Luke Aldred, 32, of Wheatsheaf Lane, Gwersyllt, appeared in custody at Llandudno court.
He was ordered to pay £100 compensation to victim David Jones and £95 to repair his glasses.
The assault happened on February 28 at Heol Hyfryd, Gwersyllt.
Aldred was told he was going to prison because of his record.
