A YOUNG woman was taken to hospital after a car ended up on its roof on the outskirts of Chester.
Police say the incident happened at 6.40pm on Monday, June 10, when officers were called to a report of a one-vehicle collision on Picton Lane.
Officers attended and found a gold Seat Ibiza on its roof. The Chester Police Twitter account said the car had hit a tree and turned over.
No-one was trapped inside the car but one of the three people who had travelling in the vehicle had suffered what is believed to have been a minor head injury.
She was assessed by paramedics and taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital as a precaution.
The road was closed whilst emergency services worked at the scene.
It was reopened by 8.20pm, after the road had been cleared and the car had been recovered.
Chester police added an investigation was under way.
