WELSH learners have been invited to join a guided walk to practise speaking the language.
The free 7km walk will be held in Holywell on June 8 and allows people to enjoy the scenery whilst they practise their Welsh speaking skills.
It will start from the parking area next to St Winefride's Chapel and will follow the North Wales Pilgrim's Way.
The walk is one of five organised by the National Centre for Learning Welsh in partnership with Urdd Gobaith Cymru in order to encourage learners to enjoy using the language outside the classroom.
Efa Gruffudd Jones, Chief Executive of the National Centre for Learning Welsh. said: "It’s important for learners following Welsh courses to have the opportunity to use the language in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
"Research shows that many Welsh learners and speakers are keen to use more Welsh in their everyday lives. And what better way to do so than by enjoying walks in some of our most beautiful areas."
The last walk will take place in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan on 15 June where Gŵyl Fach y Fro, a Welsh-language festival for the whole family, can be attended at the end of the tour.
Those wishing to attend can book their place on the tour by contacting Learn Welsh North East on 01978 267596 or send an email to learncymraeg@cambria.ac.uk.
