AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a Wrexham woman who was involved in a road traffic accident about 20 years ago.
Bernadette O’Loughlin, 58, who was a resident at Pendine Park Care Home in Summerhill, died on May 12.
At a brief hearing in Ruthin John Gittins, coroner for North Wales (East and Central), said he had scant details at this stage but understood that Mrs O’Loughlin had been bed-bound and suffered from epilepsy ever since the accident.
She died of respiratory failure secondary to a brain injury.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
