A SCHOOL netball team from Mold has been praised after competing in a national competition.
Ysgol Glanrafon's Year 5 and 6 team represented North East Wales at the Welsh National Primary School Netball Tournament in Merthyr Tydfil earlier this month.
Year 1 and 2 teacher Catrin Morris told the Leader the team practised in school netball sessions leading up to the event.
She added: "They played really well and they really enjoyed it. "We're really proud to see them get to that stage and represent North East Wales."
