FOUR people were taken to hospital following a collision near Flint Mountain.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 5.20pm on Wednesday reporting a collision involving two vehicles near the Coach and Horses pub on Northop Road.
Two fire crews attended - one each from Flint and Deeside.
Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to free a woman in her 60s who had become trapped in a vehicle.
The Welsh Ambulance Service also sent two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle to the scene.
An ambulance spokesman confirmed following the incident that four people were taken to hospital - two to Glan Clwyd Hospital and two to the Countess of Chester Hospital.
Firefighters remained at the site until just before 6.10pm.
