A POLICE officer has been injured after being struck by a BMW from which the driver attempted to flee.
North Wales Police have made an appeal for anyone that either witnessed or has dash cam footage of a vehicle that failed to stop for officers on Sunday, May 5 at around 5pm on the A483 and Ruthin Road in Wrexham to come forward.
The incident involved a black BMW 3 series, with the registration KG56 LHY.
A police officer was injured in the incident having been struck by the BMW as the driver of the vehicle attempted to run from it.
One male has been arrested as a result of the incident with one still outstanding and wanted in relation to it.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: "Please contact the police control room on 101 quoting reference X061591 and the officers dealing with the incident will get back in touch with you."
