ARMED Police were called to reports of a man in possession of a handgun in Connah's Quay on Friday afternoon.
Despite the deployment of firearms officers to the scene, the incident was brought to a safe conclusion and two BB guns were handed over to Police officers.
Cheshire and North Wales Alliance Armed Policing Unit confirmed the two guns handed over to them would now be safely destroyed.
