WREXHAM residents will have the chance to discuss security and crime issues in their area at an event this month.

Rhosllanerchrugog community councillors have requested a meeting for the members of the public in the Rhosllanerchrugog, Pant, Ponciau and Johnstown neighbourhoods to attend to discuss security and crime issues in the Rhosllanerchrugog Community Council area.

The event, run by Online Watch Link (OWL) safer neighbourhood team, is between 7pm and 8.30pm on May 9 at The Hafod Club, Broad Street, Rhosllanerchrugog, LL14 1RB.

This is an opportunity to meet the OWL Cymru representatives and learn how to form a watch scheme, register for OWL alerts and play your part in the solution to prevent crime in your neighbourhood.

To help, OWL Cymru will be providing a coding kit and 'Burglar Beware' sticker to visitors who attend on the night.
