A TRIO of incredible Welsh artists will share the gallery at a new Conwy valley exhibition.
New works by Elfyn Lewis RCA, Martin Llewellyn and Kim Dewsbury will be on show at the Ffin y Parc Gallery, near Llanrwst, from Sunday, April 28 until Wednesday, May 22.

As part of the joint exhibition this will be Mr Lewis’s biggest show to date, with more than 50 new pieces on display to coincide with his 50th birthday.

Mr Lewis said: “Hopefully people will enjoy the vibrant colours and get a feel for something they haven’t seen before. Ffin y Parc has a knack of bringing the best out of my work.”

Joining Mr Lewis is popular Welsh landscape artist Mr Llewellyn, a self-taught artist who has only been painting full-time since 2012 and whose last exhibition at the gallery was a near sell out

Gallery owner Ralph Sanders said: “His instinctive and straightforward empathy for the landscape gives his work considerable resonance.”

Completing this curation are is Ms Dewsbury, originally of Cornwall, who has been living and working in Wales for over 30 years and combines combines elements of still-life and landscape.
Mr Sanders added: “Nothing here is random or unnecessary. Kim assembles the objects in each painting, each bring its own particular set of ideas and connections.”
