NORTH Wales Police explain why several officers with riot gear were spotted in the early hours of Friday morning in Mold.
Police from the South Flintshire team attended an address in the Leeswood area of Mold based on intelligence received by members of the public and executed a search warrant at around 8.30am this morning, April 26 under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
A spokesman for the force told the Leader: “We have a duty to act on all intelligence that we receive from the public as well as our officers in the community. However, in this case, we did not recover any unlawful items at the property.
“We hope this acts as a notice to the public that we take all information that is reported to us very seriously.”
