FIRE crews are currently on hand dealing with an incident on Wrexham Industrial Estate.
They have confirmed it is a chemical related issue.
A spokesperson from North Wales Fire and Rescue has said: "Crews from Wrexham were called to an incident at Wrexham Industrial Estate in the early hours of this morning.
"The site was fully evacuated following a reaction in an industrial process and a specialist officer was deployed by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service to assist on site staff.
"The products involved have been contained and the incident is now in its closing stages."
The spokesperson has since added that the cause of the incident is an "exothermic reaction following production of resin."
An exothermic reaction is a chemical reaction that releases energy through light or heat.
