CALLING all children of Leeswood and its surrounding areas to its annual prince, rosebud and queen of the carnival competition.
The Leeswood prince, rosebud and carnival queen competition and disco, organised by a carnival committee each year, will take place on Saturday May 11, and is sure to not be missed by residents.
The prince, rosebud and queen competition has become a permanent fixture in the Leeswood calendar since 2015, when it returned after 26 years.
And the event is to find which three children will be leading the forthcoming summer carnival parade, which takes place in July.
A disco will follow the closing of the carnival competition, which will see the winning prince, rosebud and queen will be drawn out a hat.
The reigning prince, rosebud and queen are invited as special guests of the event
Doors open at 7pm, from which a bar will be open.
