ADVENTURE fans are being given the chance to hear some tales of inspiration.

Free Adventure Talks, part of the Llangollen Walking Festival on May 4, 5 and 6 will give people the opportunity to discover how local man Jack Williams turned adversity into an opportunity; joined an arctic expedition and started his own Summit Fit outdoor equipment brand based in Llangollen.

Visitors can also be inspired by another local man's amazing trek as what started out as a holiday after university turned into a two year walk from Wales to Kyrgyzstan.

A local history expert and guide book writer from the Llangollen Museum will be sharing his knowledge of the town's people, landscape and history.

CaminoWays.com will be inspiring us with stories from the Camino de Santiago de Compostela treks in Spain and how they can help make our dream trek to Santiago come true.

The AONB countryside wardens will be informing visitors of their exciting projects across the region including there 'Dark Skies' and 'Our Picturesque Landscape' projects.

There will also be great prizes to be won, raising money for Nightingale House Hospice.
