BRITISH reggae band UB40 have been forced to cancel their show in Wrexham.
The popular 80’s band were set to perform tomorrow night at the William Aston Hall at Wrexham Glyndwr, but have announced that they will no longer play the show due to illness.
Robin Campbell, the group's singer and guitarist, is battling a chest infection and is said to have lost his voice.

Band Statement
"It is with deep regret that tomorrow night’s concert of UB40 in Wrexham is cancelled due to a chest infection and loss of voice by the group's Singer and guitarist Robin Campbell. Ticket agents will be in touch in due course for refunds."
A statement from the band was tweeted out via the William Aston Hall Twitter account, which reads: "It is with deep regret that tomorrow night’s concert of UB40 in Wrexham is cancelled due to a chest infection and loss of voice by the group's Singer and guitarist Robin Campbell. Ticket agents will be in touch in due course for refunds."
The concert was part of a tour to celebrate UB40's 40th anniversary.
UB40's greatest hits include ‘Food For Thought’, ‘One In Ten’, ‘Kingston Town’, ‘(I Can't Help) Falling in Love With You’ and ‘Red, Red Wine’.
The band were also forced to cancel tonight’s performance at Venue Cymru in Llandudno.
