FLINTSHIRE schoolchildren took a step back in time to the swinging '60s.
Wepre Primary School pupils dressed up in 1960s clothing for a trip to Liverpool to visit the Magical Beatles Museum to learn more about the iconic Merseyside band.
Year 5 and 6 pupils have been studying the 1960s this term and were given a fist-hand glimpse at the what was fashionable for people to wear half a century ago.
Marie Goble, teacher, said: "We've found the children's learning has been enhanced so much with these sort of activities, they engage with it so well.
"In Liverpool, tourists and everyone were stopping to take pictures of the children, it was brilliant.
"The children have enjoyed learning about the '60s so much that they are holding an exhibition this Friday of everything they've learnt and done for parents and governors.
"As someone who grew up in the 1960s, it's just been excellent and so nostalgic."
