THE man whose body was found near the Tesco store in Wrexham last month has been named as 46-year-old Mark Formstone, of Bryn Hedd, Southsea, Wrexham.
At the opening of an inquest in Ruthin John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Central, said circumstances suggested that Mr Formstone, an unemployed welder, may have been using drugs.
A post-mortem examination was carried out by pathologist Dr Mark Atkinson and samples have been sent for toxicology and histology tests.
The inquest was adjourned to a date later this year.
On March 22, North Wales Police confirmed the body of a man was found behind the Tesco superstore on Crescent Road shortly before 9.30am.
