NORTH Wales Police is urging residents to remain vigilant following reports of thefts in the Deeside area.

Officers are asking people, particularly those who own motorbikes, to take all necessary security measures to protect their property.

A spokesman for the force said in all three recent cases the bikes appeared to have been removed from the area by a van or trailer.

The theft of a pit bike occurred on April 1 from Clwyd Street, Shotton, fence panels were removed in order to gain access to the bike which was in the garden and no keys were taken.

Anyone with information can contact police ref 19100150592.

In both instances the bikes were taken off the drive and no keys were taken.
