FOR THE first time in over fifteen years, Wrexham will be offering girls only rugby teams.
Valkyries Rugby Cluster, is supplying Girls Rugby in North East Wales for ages including: Under 7’s, 9’s, 11’s, 13’s, 15’s and 18’s.
A spokesperson for Valkyrie Rugby said:
“Girls Rugby across North Wales is one of the fastest growing sports with girls from ages 6-18 joining for fun, fitness and the chance to make new friendships.
“Wrexham and Shotton sites will be having launch nights on the 5th April at 6:30pm and the 8th April at 6:30pm respectively.
“In attendance to help with the fun will be players from Shotton, Llangollen and even a couple of Wales Women internationals.
“Girls Rugby is different to traditional rugby as we offer a greater range of options from contact to non-contact and we play throughout the warmer months.
