A DOG has died and a man was seriously injured following an incident on Monday night.
Emergency services were called to Ferry Hill, Ewloe about 6.30pm on March 25 to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a Cockapoo.
A spokesman for North Wales Police confirmed a male riding a crosser type motorcycle was involved in the collision in which the dog died at the scene.
The rider suffered a serious leg injury.
A local resident said the road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We received a call last night at 6.25pm to a road traffic collision between a motorcyclist and a dog on Ferry Hill, Ewloe.
"We responded with a rapid response vehicle and an emergency ambulance, one patient was conveyed to the Countess of Chester Hospital, Chester."
