HOW many Wrexham AFC fans fancy the chance of playing as the Reds on the next FIFA game?

The Vanarama National League, where the Reds currently lie third in the table and in the hunt for promotion, has started a petition to try and get the division included in the FIFA series produced by EA Sports.

Currently, teams are only playable as far down as League 2 of the Football League, with fans of non-league clubs missing out on the opportunity to play as their heroes.

A statement with a link to the petition on the Vanarama National League website states: "You're here because you believe the real football fans of the National Leagues deserve the chance to play with their favourite team on FIFA 20.

"Every year passionate non-league fans have been calling for their division to be available on each new instalment of the FIFA series only for it to fall on deaf ears.

"This is a call to arms! We want every National League Fan to have their team represented on FIFA.

"The Vanarama National Leagues are growing year in year out and deserve the recognition of being the fiercely competitive leagues that they are. EA Sports need to stand up and take note and give the fans what they want!"

Of course, the Reds will automatically be on the next game anyway, should Bryan Hughes's squad go on to seal promotion in the next few months.
