OFFICERS at the British Transport Police have released CCTV images after a man threatened to stab a guard on a train between Flint and Shotton.

The suspect is reported to have boarded the train at about 2.50pm in Rhyl on Monday, February 11, where he began acting aggressively towards the guard after an issue with his ticket.

The man then began verbally abusing the victim at around 2.50pm before threatening to stab him “if he ever saw him again”. The suspect then left the train at Shotton.

Reports say that no knife was seen during the incident.

Officers believe the man in the images released today (March 20) may have information that could help their investigation.
