The Deltic Group, operators of ATIK Wrexham picked up the award for Best Late Night Operator of the Year.

The company was recognised by The Publican Awards, the biggest event in the hospitality industry calendar, for providing outstanding entertainment, innovation and drinks retail offer.

With 55 venues nationwide, Deltic is the UK's largest operator of late night bars and clubs and invests millions of pounds a year on creating memorable big night outs for its customers, with a strong line-up of high profile stars including DJ Marvin Humes and Jaguar Skills making appearances at the club. A strong drinks range, from hand crafted cocktails to craft ales, as well as the very best in light and sound technology contributed to Deltic's awards success.

All of this is underpinned by a strong sense of responsibility to its customers and local communities through its pioneering We Care initiative. Putting customers first, We Care includes a team of specially trained customer care ambassadors to support vulnerable clubbers and provides free mobile phone charging points. Other We Care pledges include a taxi escort service for vulnerable individuals, free handbag cloakroom service and access to a landline (free of charge) for those who lose their phone.

General manager Mat Evans said: "Our main priority is to provide the best night out and we work really closely with the Police and local authorities to make sure that we deliver a great experience. We shouldn't forget that the late night sector plays an important role in our local economy; by operating responsibly we can make sure that our customers enjoy a safe and fun night and it's great to be recognised in this way."

Deltic Group employs more than 3,000 people.
