A SCHOOL in Wrexham has been celebrating Red Nose Day, by dressing as a typically hard to spot character.
Children at All Saint's School in Gresford have honoured the fundraising day by dressing as Wally, from the eponymous puzzle book.
Throughout the day children raised money for Red Nose Day, by holding various activities including a danceathon and a penalty shootout.
Helen Dobie from Gresford All Saints said: "Dressing as Where's Wally and Wenda was something the school council decided on.
"The council members went to all the classes and banded several ideas around.
"The idea has gone down really well. A lot of the children have turned up in costume.
"All the classes are involved in a danceathon, taking part for about half an hour and they're doing penalty shootouts as well.
"Every seems to be really enjoying it."
Meanwhile children from Ysgol Rhiwabon have been taking part in the day by turning out all in red.
Both the children and staff all dressed up and took part in various fundraising activities throughout the day.
And finally students Ysgol Dinas Bran took the opportunity to 'kidnap' the headteacher Mark Hatch. It was all in aid of charity, with the students raising over £700 for Comic Relief.
