LITERARY fans in Wrexham will have the chance to hear from the Archdruid of Wales at this year's Carnival of Words.
Myrddin ap Dafydd will be at the festival, reading some of his own Welsh language poems.
The poems will come from his collection for his latest poetry volume called Pentref Du, Pentref Gwyn, the title of a poem he wrote for Gwyn Thomas.
Myrddin is the newly elected Archdruid of Wales in the Gorsedd of Bards, and the National Eisteddfod this year will be in his hometown of Llanrwst.
The event takes place on Tuesday, April 30 at 7.30pm in the Catrin Finch Centre at Glyndwr University.
Tickets are available from Wrexham Library or wrexham.gov.uk/pay.
