A LEADING energy company is calling on students in North Wales to join its masters scholarships programme in partnership with Glyndwr University .

The Scottish Power programme is open to final year UK undergraduate students looking to progress their careers in energy, environment and digital-related disciplines, including courses in engineering, renewable and sustainable energy systems as well as computer science, cybersecurity and big data management.

Glyndwr University joins a host of other universities involved with the programme including the University of Edinburgh, University of Strathclyde, University of Glasgow, University of Liverpool, the University of East Anglia, Glasgow Caledonian University, Liverpool John Moores University and Heriot-Watt University.

Established in 2010 to nurture and retain talent in the energy industry, the programme has awarded grants to 14 students in the UK.
