A MOTORIST who crashed into a stationary car at a roundabout was found to be over the drink-drive limit.
Ryszard Golebiewski, 52, told police how he had drunk four or five glasses of whisky.
At North East Wales Magistrates Court at Mold he was banned from driving for a year, fined £385 with £85 costs and a £38 surcharge.
Golebiewski, of Hawkstone Way in Wrexham, followed the proceeding with the aid of a Polish interpreter.
Prosecutor Wyn Jones told how Golebiewski was driving a Honda Accord in Dean Road at 8.15pm on February 6.
While negotiating a roundabout, he collided with a stationary vehicle.
Golebiewski was co-operative with police and blew a reading of 56 microgrammes compared to the legal limit of 35.
He admitted a drink driving charge, apologised and said he had never been in trouble with the law before.
