A VILLAGE community shop has pledged its support to a refugee support charity.
Refugee Essentials North East Wales (RENEW) operates in Holywell and Buckley.
It supports refugees in crisis by sorting donations and sending much needed items to refugee camps.
The charity confirmed this week that Llanarmon-Yn-Ial Community Shop has now become a drop off point for donations.
Joanne McKinstry, team leader and RENEW, said: "Alan and Barbara Mills volunteer in the shop and it is great to have their support.
"It is going to make it a lot easier for people who want to donate but can't make it to Bistre or Holywell."
