THE case against a Flintshire man who was due to be sentenced for arson has been further adjourned.
Richard Homan-Russell, 32, of Greenfield Road in Greenfield, has admitted arson following a fire at a domestic garage in Holywell in May of last year.
Defence barrister Mark Connor, who said his client had admitted the charge of a reckless basis, applied for an adjournment so that a second report could be prepared.
Connor claims that he entered the garage to defecate, dropped a cigarette and the fire was started accidentally.
Judge Rhys Rowlands adjourned sentence until March 18 and said evidence might need to be called.
Homan-Russell has admitted that on May 26 he damaged by fire a garage belonging to Tracey Wilkes being reckless as to whether damage would be caused.
He was rebailed in the meantime on various conditions including one which states he is not to enter Nant Eos in Holywell.
