A COMMUNITY Council is stumping up the cash for new litter bins for its estate.
Caia Park Community Council has formed a a working litter group and agreed to fund seven or eight new bins to be placed around the estate in a bid to get to grips with a littering problem.
At their meeting this month, clerk Michael Morris gave details of some of the locations they were looking at.
He said: "One will be by the entrance to Gwenfro school to replace the one that was burnt out.
"We are two on Montgomery Road, one by Bentley Place on Rivulet Road, another in Queensway, and one by Windrush Close. There will be seven or eight in total."
Members agreed to pay for the bins at a cost of £200 each.
