FLINTSHIRE County Council are reminding residents that some departments have moved from County Hall in Mold to St David’s Park in Ewloe.
The departments which have moved to Ty Dewi Sant are Planning, Environment and Economy, Education Services and Social Services.
If locals have meetings or need to contact any of these departments, they will need to go to the Ewloe Green site.
A spokesperson for the council said: “County Hall in Mold is an old building which has served its purpose effectively for many years. However, it is also an expensive building to run and the Council has looked at all the options it has available, to create efficiencies in this challenging financial climate.
“This move provides a modern, cost effective base for our staff to maintain high quality services for the future.”
Ty Dewi Sant has a visitor car park at the front of the building and is part of the St David’s Park development which creates a strong locational link and provides a visible demonstration of the Council’s commitment to the Welsh language.
Members of the public should note that all email addresses and telephone numbers will remain the same.
