SCHOOL pupils have been urged to understand the importance of revision.
Luke Merchant from the Higher Education Roadshow recently visited year 10 and 11 pupils at Elfed High School in Buckley to help motivate them in terms of revision.
The Higher Education Roadshow is a partnership between Cardiff University and Cardiff Metropolitan University which aims to provide information, advice and guidance to students.
The initiative also aims to raise awareness of the benefits of higher education and the opportunities that are available to young adults for the next steps in the lives.
A spokesman for the school told the Leader that the talk was well received amongst pupils.
The said: "One pupil who really enjoyed the talk said they were helpful tips including using aeroplane or do not disturb modes on mobile phones when revising.
"The session overall has been really informative and beneficial."
