A FLINTSHIRE road was closed due to flooding following heavy rain.
North Wales Police received a call at about 9.15 on Thursday morning reporting flooding on the A548 main road between Mostyn and Ffynnongroyw.
Officers attended the scene and closed the road whilst they waited for Flintshire Council highways officers to arrive.
A motorist told the Leader that the floods are still causing problems from Ffynnongroyw up to Greenfield.
Steve Jones, Chief Officer Streetscene and Transportation at Flintshire Council said: “The council have received a report of flooding on the A548 and officers are currently on site carrying out inspections.”
