PRIMARY school pupils were given top tips on how to release their inner-Gareth Bale.
Pupils at St Mary’s school in Nercwys received a footballing masterclass from Josh Evans of Wrexham AFC’s Racecourse Community Foundation.
The children shrugged off Tuesday’s Arctic conditions for the session, which saw them learn the skills, tricks and techniques that could help them to be the next football star.
Wrexham AFCs Racecourse Community Foundation is an Accredited Fun Football provider in Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire.
It promotes ‘Fun Football’, with the emphasis on ‘turn up and play’ and ‘skill development through creative football practice’.
Mrs Janet Meaden, headteacher, said: “A big thanks to Wrexham AFC and Josh Evans for coming down to the school.
