AN appeal for information has been launched by North Wales Police after a local church was broken into and damaged over the weekend.
St Mary’s Church on Merlin Street in Johnstown, Wrexham, which has stood since 1926, is believed to have been broken into with damage was caused inside to electrical sockets and oil tank.
The incident is said to have taken place overnight on Saturday, January, 19.
Police are asking for anyone who lives in the area who may have seen anything suspicious that could assist police in their investigation please contact 101 quoting OWL Cymru 19100020045.
