It's a spectacular view during any of the four seasons.
But the walk to the top of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct on Wednesday morning brought incredible rewards for Leader photographer Craig Colville.
The view from the World Heritage site was a winter wonderland - with a blanket of snow covering nearby fields and frost peppering the top of the canal.
