Motorists have been warned to be cautious following reports of heavy fog.
The Met Office has warned that there will be fog in the Wrexham area from about 9am until after 12noon on Sunday. Fog is also expected in the Mold area at about 10am.
A spokesman for North Wales Police also said: "Good morning. Please take care on the roads this morning, we are having reports of heavy fog especially in the Flintshire and Wrexham areas. Thank you."
In Sunday's regional weather forecast for Wales, a Met Office spokesman said: "A gloomy, chilly start with occasional drizzle and hill fog in places.
"Perhaps a little brightness developing, especially in the west, but many places could remain rather grey and cold. A few showers may run into coastal areas. Maximum temperature 8 °C."
