Motorists were hit by delays following an incident on the A55 near Holywell.
One lane was closed on the A55 eastbound between junction 31 (Caerwys) and Dolphin (Holywell) after a car had slipped down an embankment
One person involved in the collision was treated at the scene.
The incident resulted in long delays.

An eyewitness told the Leader: "It looks like at least one car has left the carriageway and gone down an embankment."
The witness added there were several emergency service teams in attendance.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "We were called at 1.28pm to reports that a vehicle had gone into a ditch on the eastbound carriageway of the A55 near Pantasaph."
Police and ambulance services attend to incident on A55 near Holywell
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed two crews were sent to the scene - one each from Flint and Deeside - but nobody was trapped and the crews were recalled after arriving.
A spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We received a call to a road traffic collision on the A55.
"We responded with an emergency ambulance and one patient was treated at the scene."
