Dramatic footage captured the moment a Deeside robber hurled slates at police and set his trousers on fire during a rooftop stand-off.
Sam Nicholas Allan, 30, threw slates off the roof of a Connah's Quay newsagents' shop at officers below.
High on drink and drugs, he was bare-chested despite the cold and later took his trousers off, setting them alight and waving them about.
The stand-off was captured by police body cameras before Allan, 30, was arrested.
Earlier in the evening, Allan had robbed a barman at The Mill Tavern pub in Flint.
At Mold Crown Court on Tuesday, Allan, 30, of no fixed abode but formerly of Bron y Wern, Bagillt - who had a previous robbery conviction - was jailed for 18 months.
