AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following a fire which damaged four vehicles.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly before 10pm on Wednesday reporting three 'Artic wagon' vehicles ablaze in Factory Road, Sandycroft.
Three fire crews attended the scene - two from Deeside and one from Buckley - and used three main jets, a thermal imaging camera, hydrant equipment, lights and small tools to tackle the flames.
A spokesman for the fire and rescue service told the Leader that investigators are to attend the scene again on Thursday morning to ascertain the cause of the incident.
The blaze resulted in 100 per cent fire damage to cabs and the front end of trailers on three of the vehicles, as well as radiated heat damage to a fourth vehicle.
