A WARNING notice has been served on an address in Mold in a bid to crack down on drug-related crime.
A spokesman for the South Flintshire policing team confirmed the notice was served on December 29 in regards to cuckooing.
Cuckooing is a form of crime in which drug dealers take over a person’s home to use it as a base for drug dealing and an operation has been launched by North Wales Police to tackle the issue in relation to County Lines.
A spokesman for the South Flintshire team said: “Without your information positive action like this will never happen and drug gangs will continue to exploit our towns and villages.”
North Wales Police aims to tackle the issue of County Lines, which sees drug gangs from larger cities distributing drugs to rural and coastal areas.
The force is asking people to contact them with any information anonymously if concerned about drug related crime.
Police can be contacted via 101, email 73015@nthwales.pnn.police.uk or 999 in an emergency. Crimestoppers can also be called on 0800 545 5111.
