A CONSTRUCTION firm has teamed up with a local housing association to play Santa and treat residents across Flintshire.

Galliford Try has been recently working for Clwyd Alyn Housing Association, part of the Pennaf Housing Group, and they suggested bringing some of their own festive delight to schemes across the county.

They have installed bingo and karaoke machines to extra care housing schemes, as well as providing residents with Christmas hampers.

Louise Blackwell, community development officer for Clwyd Alyn, said: "Our friends at Galliford Try have been absolutely amazing. They delivered a bingo and karaoke machines for our Llys Raddington extra care scheme in Flint as well as delivering a hamper full of Christmas goodies to Greenbank Villas, Llys Emlyn Williams and the Quay Project, three of our Flintshire schemes that support former homeless people in Flintshire.

"We can’t thank them enough, it was incredibly generous and will make Christmas special time at each of the schemes."
