DOZENS of children got into the Christmas spirit as they performed their annual nativity.
Year three and four pupils from Ysgol Gwynedd held their ‘Hooray in a Manger’ show for proud parents at St Mary’s Church in Flint.
The performance took on some traditional aspects of the nativity but was also performed with a twist, which involved a three humped camel.

Amy Jermy, class teacher, said: “We told the traditional nativity story but with a bit of a twist.
“We done this to keep it current and modern. It’s a story everyone knows, everyone knows the story of Christmas and so we thought we would tell it with a twist.
“The children loved it, they enjoyed learning the new songs and dressing up and performing. It’s great to see.”
Pupils have performed a nativity for the past seven years and every year staff aim to come up with something new and modern.
