A HOUSE blaze in Gwersyllt was accidental, fire chiefs have concluded.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call shortly after 10.20pm on Thursday reporting a blaze at a home in Park Hill Avenue.
Two fire crews from Wrexham attended the scene and used a pair of breathing apparatus, a CO2 extinguisher and a thermal imaging camera to bring the incident to an end by 10.54pm.
A spokesman for the service told the Leader that five per cent fire damage and 60 per cent smoke damage was caused to the lounge of the property and nobody was injured.
The incident, the spokesman added, was caused accidentally by a halogen light setting fire to curtains.
